INFORMS Director Elena Gerstmann Visited CMU

Elena Gerstmann, the Executive Director of INFORMS, and Mary Magrogan, the Director of Recognition and Development, visited our student chapter! Elena and Mary brought Berger cookies to celebrate the student sucesses of all those who help make events happen with the CMU INFORMS Student Chapter. We had a roundtable discussion with our student chapter’s general board and members about how to continue developing our student chapter and take advantage of resources INFORMS has to offer, such as monetary arawds to attend conferences. Elena and Mary also brought ballots for us to vote on a constitutional amendment chenge to the INFORMS constitution. All INFORMS members are encouraged to vote before February 28, 2023 with the information available HERE. Great dicussion and we were very thankful for the visit. Thanks Elena and Mary!
